PN.1 - Trekking in Stelvio National Park (Cevedale Mountains)
Ascent of Corna Rossa Peak which is one of the most panoramic peaks in the Ortles and Cevedale
Mountains. It is possible to practice climbing techniques in safety on the walls which are
adjacent to the mountain lodge. A comfortable path will lead us to the Sternai Lakes and Maleda Valley.
There we can still find eagles, ibex and red deer. The jewel of the Stelvio National Park is Saent
Valley which is famous for its waterfalls as well as Pra' di Saent with its typical alps and
numerous marmots - an idyll of untouched flora and fauna.
DURATION: 3 days - Overnight in the mountain lodge.
PN.2 - From Fumo Valley to Genova Valley (Adamello National park)
Crossing: from Fumo Valley to Genova Valley in typical high-alpine environment with view over
the enormous glaciers of Care' Alto (3.463 m) surrounded by waterfalls and untouched flora
and fauna.
DURATION: 3 days - Overnight in the huts.
PN.3 - Hiking Alta Via on Monte Baldo hut to hut (medium - MBa)
Degree of difficulty and notes: Wonderful trip in the natural park of Monte Baldo on easy
path on the mountain crest which divides the Adige Valley from Lake Garda Mountains with
little elevation difference. We spend one night in a typical alpine lodge. From the naturalistic point of
view, this tour is very interesting because it is offering a unique panorama over the entire
Lake, the Venetian plains, the Brenta Group and the Adamello Glacier.
DURATION: 2 days - Overnight in the mountain lodge.
The trails which have been constructed by the soldiers during World War I. are leading us to the
former battlefields where Austrian and Italians had fought against each other during the cruel
"White War" on the Adamello glacier. An excellent physical condition is a prerequisite
for the participation in this glacier crossing trek due to the long duration and the large
difference in altitude.
DURATION: 2 days - Overnight in the hut.
TS.2 - Historical trip in the Pasubio Mountains Trentino (RPa)
This mountain chain, located at the border to the province of Venezia, was of major strategic
interest during World War I., as it was the last fortress of the Austrian-Hungarian empire in
Trentino and Venezia. The first involuntary alpinists, Italian and the Austrian soldiers, have
left behind many traces such as man-made tunnels and trails.
DURATION: 3 days - Overnight in the huts.
PA.1 - Via ferrata "Bocchette del Brenta" in the Brenta mountains (RBo)
These famous "via ferrata", (iron ladder paths), are very well-known among the
mountaineers all over the world. These "paths" which are directly passing at the foot
of the Brenta walls are sometimes rather airy and narrow. The participants should not
be high-shy and should have some mountain experience.
DURATION: 3 days - Overnight in the mountain lodge.
PA.2 - Via ferrata (iron ladder paths)
The starting point of our tour is Lake Garda; we will cross the famous Brenta
Mountain Group and,
last not least, we will make it to the top of Marmolada.
DURATION: 5 days - Overnight in the huts.
GA.1 - Walking in the Brenta Group Trentino
Our daily excursions will lead us past the famous and never-ending walls of the Brenta
Dolomites. For those who are interested, it is possible to try some climbing on Dolomit limestone.
DURATION: 3 days - Overnight in the mountain lodges.
GA.2 - CARESER GLACIER (CEVEDALE mountains )
The large and flat Careser Glacier is located in the Stelvio National Park between Rabbi and Pejo
Valley. The crossing of the glacier is an interesting challenge trip but can be mastered without
difficulties.
DURATION: 2 days - Overnight in the hut.
GA.3 - Marmolada trekking hut to hut (RMa)
Located between Fedaia Lake in the North and Ombretta Valley with its famous and more than
1000 m long South wall. An excursion through the San Nicolo' Valley will prepare us for the
coming days. The ascent to the "Queen" of the Dolomites - the Marmolada Punta Penia
at 3.342 m - is technically not difficult, however, a good phyical condition is indispensable
for the participation at this trip.

GA.4 - GLACIER HIKING IN THE ADAMELLO NATURPARK TRENTINO hut-to-hut (RAd)
The National Park of Adamello-Brenta with its 618 sq. km is one of the largest nature reserves.
The crossing of the largest European glacier is technically difficult and offers a unique
panorama of high-alpine mountain scenery. An excellent physical condition is a prerequisite for the
participation in this glacier crossing trip due to the long duration and the large elevation difference.
DURATION: 3 days - Overnight in the huts.
This course is destined for people who love via ferratas but would like to extend their knowledge in the rocks and on glaciers in order to being able to proceed in high alpine areas in safety. This is our program:
Program of alpine base courseDay 1 - Meeting point: parking lot at highway exit ROVERETO SUD at 09.00 a.m. - ROCK CLIMBING lesson in
suitable climbing crag; we teach different climbing techniques for example: chimney, cracks, slabs; different knots, belaying
and rope techniques. Overnight stay in a hotel in the area.
Day 2 - Departure from the hotel at 08.30 a.m. - ROCK CLIMBING on multi-pitch route. Different rope manouvres and rappelling
exercises. Overnight stay in our hotel.
Day 3 - Departure from Hotel to Marmolada mountain group (2,5 hrs. by car) - Ascent to glacier - Lesson: correct use of crampons
and ice-axe. Rope manouvres for glacier crossing and rescue from crevasse. Overnight stay in mountain lodge Marmolada.
Day 4 - Ascent to the highest Top of Marmolada Glacier - Progression of the rope team on the glacier and ascent to PENIA PEAK
(3.340 m.) - total: ca. 7 hrs. Overnight stay in mountain lodge Marmolada.
Day 5 - Practical lesson: use of alpine equipment, repetition of rope manouvres as well as check of previously acquired knowledge.
ALPINGUIDE.COM (mountain guides of Trentino) will issue a CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION for each participant indicating the personal
results of course - descent to the valley: ca. 2 hrs.
